Hey hey, sweet darlin', lets go dancing tonight
My clock has been tickin', it tells me the timing's just right
...
Well I've got twenty dollars and I know it can get us by the door
When the band starts playin' how can they ask us for more...

"We've thought of life by analogy with a journey, with pilgrimage which had a serious purpose at the end, and the THING was to get to that end; success, or whatever it is, or maybe heaven after you're dead. But, we missed the point the whole way along; It was a musical thing and you were supposed to sing, or dance, while the music was being played.

I was in a taxi last week and the driver had the golden oldies on. I recognised the song, but for the first time ever, I listened to the lyrics. I thought they were quite good.

Song - I don't believe in If anymore by Roger Whittaker
Quote
No you won't believe in If anymore
If's an illusion
If's an illusion
No you won't believe in If anymore
If is for children
If is for children

Yes, I saw them in Germany in 07. I love their music. I can't speak Danish and only have a rudimentary understanding of it, but that is okay with me.  ;D
