Just saw it. Laughed my ass off. My wife, who does not care for the three stooges went anyway, cause if she didn't, I'd be going alone. I haven't heard her laugh so much in a long time.

4 thumbs up!!!
The essence of the mind is not in what it thinks, but how it thinks. Faith is the surrender of our mind; of reason and our skepticism to put all our trust or faith in someone or something that has no good evidence of itself. That is a sinister thing to me. Of all the supposed virtues, faith is not.

Really? Because I wanted to see it, but was hesitant due to it being a remake. I'll be sure to catch it now. ;D
Strange but not a stranger

I love my car more than I love most people.

Glad you liked it. I'll definitely go see it, no matter what.

How similar? Dude...it IS the Three Stooges. The same slapstick comedy from way back. I think the closest to this movie was Dumb and Dumber but TTS is much funnier.

What I can't get over is my wife. She never cared for them but reluctantly went with me. She laughed throughout, but there were about four scenes in the movie that made her...and I hate to say it...guffaw. One so bad it gave her a coughing fit. I laughed more than she did, i reckon I would have expected it.

Honestly, I went in the theatre fully expecting a total flop. I'm really glad it wasn't. So if you like TTS's, just consider this an expanded short, in colour, with some idiot supporting characters (just like then) during the hey-days of the Stooges. It's no where near one of the lame movies they made back in the 60's.

The hospital scene was a riot.

I've never seen an episode of Jersey Shore. But when you see Moe slapping around the cast....

A friend and my boss, the assistant head of Public Works and the head of water dept., who is also a 3 Stooges fan called me to say he took the whole family and they laughed as hard as I did.

Oh, I thought it was a remake. They're remaking every other movie and tv show under the sun, so I thought that's what this was.

There is a remake http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0383010/

I also thought that was what was being discussed.
