I just took up acrylic painting. Fun but frustrating.  I do ten times more reading about how to do it than actual painting.

This is a work in progress that I'm hoping to get done by January for an art show at school. Done completely from scratch.

Very impressive. I have very little artistic capability so I take photos of what I can't draw.

Waarg. I said I'd post something but I realized I don't really have much in the way of finished art to show off. I mostly just fill sketchbooks with sketches from photos/magazines/people in my immediate area at this point. I can't put my noodz from figure drawing on Photobucket so here's a ginormous disorganized pile of sketchpoop (click the + signs for direct image links):

+ Tech theater assignment-- we were supposed to find parts and compile a costume design based off someone we saw in public (license to creep!). I had to use one of those fashion design model templates as a base so she is freakishly lanky and tall.
+ Sketchies from magazine (contains Barbie doll nudity oh noooo)

+ 30 second doodles of Link (Legend of Zelda) and a random elfy girl
+ Running ladies

+ One of my characters from the comic I'm writing... as a child. She's a creepy psychic.

+ I just wanted to draw a princess. But I didn't want it to take long.
+ Drawn the morning my Grandma died, from a photo in my album. Aw shit, downer way to end the list. OH WELL.

Not bad... I'm not into those kinds of drawings, really, but I always appreciate it when some artists do NOT do those stupid jappo-style take-up-half-a-face eyes.

Haha, thanks Asmodean. I still love the anime style, but the generic stuff is really obnoxious and I try to distance myself from it. But like a lot of people in my age group, that was what was popular and that was how I started drawing. I'll have to find a host that allows nudes so I can post my classwork.

I usually don't mind the Anime style, but there is a fine line between large eyes and just plain creepy. Unfortunately that line is crossed way to many times.
