Nimzo

This is one of those threads where the title says it all.

I've got cups and saucers.  You can provide the Tetley's (or some heretical beverage).

I'm agnostic about the existence of the Digestives.

Digestives exist, but I'd rather something tastier, how about a scone with cream and jam? (translation: jam means jelly if you live in a place where they apply the wrong meaning to words).

Hello, I don't need a saucer, but a plate for my scones would save on crumbage.

Before I had heard only rumours of the degree of heresy within Internet Atheist Communities, but this "Magic Pudding" jam-idol you worship (and even name yourself after) brings me much distress.

I worry I'm falling into some kind of bottomless metaphysical trap, but I will bravely proceed in a proud Puddingish manner.

They have chocolate ones, but these things have to be dunked to become digestible, not too long of course.  Dunking of chocolate biscuits in hot beverages is a barbarous activity.  While I acknowledge there is a market for barbarous products, I refuse to support it.

Your assertions and pretty pictures prove nothing but your magical fantasy pudding world. :P

(A solipsist makes the best devil's advocate, but is only able to metaphysically trap the Digestivist by epistemologically trapping herself...Matthew 12:26 springs to mind...)

Hi Nimzo

I recognise that avatar, did you used to be a member of Richard Dawkins Forum?

Welcome to HAF.

The avatar's from that infamously random album of Captain Beefheart's, Trout Mask Replica - it is the album cover, but done in Paint.  I've never frequented RDF - I've always found that "clear-thinking oasis" of his to be something of a mirage.

Well the avatar is rather distinctive and memorable, but it obviously wasn't you behind it.

Indeedle.

I'm intrigued by your "asupernaturalist" label.  What is this "supernatural" you don't believe in?

I won't speak for Tank but he doesn't pay me the respect that is due a magical foodstuff.

I'm confused.  Does that mean that he does respect your Puddingism?  :P

;D That's a 50+ question, that I may or may not answer in due course.

I confused myself a bit, it could be correct, or perhaps it once was.
"I won't speak for Tank but he doesn't pay me the respect that is a magical foodstuff's due".
That would have been less confusing but clarity is only sometimes my goal.
