Quote from: "DennisK"I got nuttin'.  I do enjoy Chinese letters and big Samoan tattoos, though.  I am a graphic designer and a doodler by nature.

They're not Chinese letters; they're Chinese words.  ;)

I have three tattoos myself and am considering a fourth, I just don't know where to put it yet.

JuggernautJon

Alright. My zodiac sign on my right shoulder (taurus). Worked into a 3 quarter sleeve. The juggernaut on the same arm, inside biceps. IPU symbol on my  inner wrist with the word "atheos" in greek letters and translates into "atheist" on the top wrist. The filler on my sleeve is green and purple with skulls worked into it. My left inner wrist has a symbol I have drew up that is basically my middle name bunched together (uriah). With a peace sign directly below it. My left biceps has a nautical star. Lip and eyebrow is also pierced.l

I have a nose piercing (hoop not a sparkly dot), a tattoo on my right foot that takes up most of the right side and a large tattoo on the left side of my left leg. I plan on getting a 3/4 sleeve once I have the money for it. The sleeve is sort of difficult to explain... but it will be super cool. Oh and I have purple and gold highlights. Somehow I still manage to pull off looking like a nerd...not even remotely tattoo-cool. :P

i have a small butterfly on my back that I either need to get more work done to or consider having removed later down the road (or continue forgetting it is there like I do now).  I honestly didn't hear the term tramp stamp till after i got it; was fine till someone explained what that location was associated with; so more work would be to run it up the side or something; will need a tatoo artist to help figure out what to do.  Will also have to find out how good of a job removal does; if there is a high chance of scaring then it's not an option because I scar easily and would rather have a colorful mark than a scarred ugly one.

I also have a very small (half dollar sized) doric column on my right outside ankle that I designed myself...it's very simple; what a doric column would look like in tribal art.

Sireal

When I was younger i would mess with the meat machine all the time, lots of ink, piercings. I once hung a guy off a cross with 36 halibut hooks (he was a professional suspension artist) and did a full on ritual with him hanging there and then I branded him (at his request) that was a lot of fun. I know several performance artists who do this sort of thing and its meh-whatever, its just a meat sack and its yours do whatever you want with just dont expect me to be interested or fascinated but pictures might be cool! I'm much more fascinated with how the psyche can be played with and tweaked.I think if one is going to get ink or pierced..or hang off of crosses with fish hooks...it should be a personal experience done solely for the purpose of activating the psyche to higher levels of awareness, that seems to be best use such actions can be put too. I have a tiny black swallow on my hipbone about the size of a quarter. The tattoo artist was really really shady, but I was right out of high school and the excitement of rebellion and the bonding experience with my best friend were more important than the quality of the tattoo.  :P

Scully: Please explain to me the scientific nature of "the whammy."

fester30

Tornado tattoo on my right arm.  Drew it myself.  I'm a stormchaser so it fits.

Melmoth

No tattoos. I like to think of myself as a blank page. I have a piercing on my left ear, which my mum did when I was about 5 or 6, which I don't use and which has probably (hopefully) healed over inside.

I used to have a lot of piercings, but kind of got tired of them, plus it hurts to get them snagged on stuff.. just not worth it to me.

I have my monroe done, and ears pierced.
I have a tattoo of flowers that takes up most of my back.
I have a blue bird on my collar bone.
I'm working on a half sleeve that is a bird scene.
I have stars on my hips.

thats about it I guess lol !

I think so too, I love bird tattoos.

I once asked the hairdresser to dye my hair blue. She wouldn't do it because my hair is too long, dark and thick. I probably would have piercings if I weren't so afraid of needles. So, no piercings and no tattoos.

I never understood why hairdressers say no to stuff like that...so afraid of bleach.

Maybe she was too lazy to do it. It would take at least a couple of hours.

Probably, but thats a decent amount of money for her. Whatever ^_^ blue hair would be neat, although I dont think I have the courage for it hehe. I put a streak of blue in my hair before, but thats about it.
