Hey, my real name is johnny so you can just call me that i'm 15 years old. I have an all christian family and go to a christian high school(not my choice) i gave up christianity last year when i started thinking about god. most of the kids at my school stay away from me because i don't share their beliefs so i guess that's typical christians. i have one agnostic friend so that's who i hang out with that would suck if i was alone. my parents make me go to wednesday night church and sunday night church too. thanks. ill talk to you guys in the forums. bye!
Unconditional love is a characteristic of the Christian faith, such as that demonstrated by God in the form of a place of eternal torture for the unsaved-anonymous

Welcome to the forum, Johnny.  It's hard enough being a teen ager without the extra added bonus of being an atheist in a christian school.

I hope you stick around and talk with us.  We're a friendly bunch and here for you if you need to vent.

See you around the forum.

Welcome, Johnny... it must be very hard being at a Christian school as a non-believer.  I'm glad you found us... you can be among friends.  :-)

welcome someguy named johnny. high school sucked for me too. don't let it get you down. learn as much as you possibly can in school...go the extra mile. don't worry about being popular...close friends are the only ones that count.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. -cs

Welcome to the forum Johnny...considering that I experience issues in high school since my view of christianity was simply more liberal than that of others, I can only imagine how difficult it must be to be an open atheist in high school.  High school sucks anyway...just be a trooper for 4 years then you can go to college where you are much more likely to find like-minded friends.  Good luck.

Welcome. I happened to be one of those who loved high school, but understand why so many folks didn't love it. Glad to have you here.
