Most digital video cameras create a file type suitable to upload to YouTube. I bought a JVC camcorder, it was the cheapest in the shop and it can load directly to YouTube. Do you have access to a camcorder or a webcam?

Well if you get a cheap webcam you can record a file from it. Then you make and account as YouTube and simply up-load the file. It really is very simple.

I know, but there are other ways to make videos, and I'm not sure what to make videos on. I need inspiration.

I have an idea! I'll make a video on...wait for it...

Atheism and morality! Original, I know.

I want to talk about justification for morality, underlying assumptions, subjective morals, and the like. Basically, what I'll be saying is that all moral standards are formed upon the basis of huge underlying assumptions that cannot possibly be justified outside of "It's my opinion", along with a few other points.

I was all set to be a youtuber, but the novelty wore off after the first video. I still have a lot of good ideas that I am too lazy to bring about, if you're interested.

I was thinking about dressing up in a greenman suit, like from IASIP, and then doing random stuff. Then I'd edit the green out... somehow, and say that a GHOST did it.

You could also tie some black ballons to like a childs flashy toy and say it's a UFO... These ideas seemed a lot better when I thought of them.  :verysad:

You could also get like a sock puppet, and make it tell jokes and stories. BUT you need to seem creepilly attached to it, and slowly make it seem as if you are losing yourself/the puppet is gaining dominance.

YouTube is marvelous. Gotta' keep your audience happy, though.
I have an old Canon digital camera with a video function that I use to record videos of myself. I'm starting up a new YouTube. Windows Movie Maker works fine for editing. Put in a bit of music and a title and end-scene of some sort, and it'll seperate you from the rif-raft.

Only issue after that is getting views. So, be interesting, too. And if you're going to be making videos that some might consider controversial, the morality of Atheism being one of them... Or just anything involving Atheism or Religion at all, I suggest you make a new YouTube profile strictly for uploading videos. There are quite a few cases of Atheist martyrdom on YouTube, crazed fundies reporting videos because they're "offensive" to them. Alot of great uploaders get shut down for no reason other than someone filed a complaint and some god-mod somewhere pressed delete/ban. They don't even check half the shit anymore.

I should post my channel here after it gets up and running...
