Ben Stein Loses Bulk of Lawsuit Claiming Global Warming Beliefs Cost Him Acting Job ;D

QuoteCalifornia Superior Court judge Elizabeth Allen White has dismissed most of Ben Stein's lawsuit that claimed the Japanese company Kyocera Mita backed out of a $300,000 deal to hire him to act in commercials for a line of computer printers when it found out about his controversial beliefs on global warming.

Very happiness making.  Ben Stein is one of the worst about presenting himself as "fair an balanced" when actually its entirely Op Ed.  Also (obviously) the main problem with Fox.  How can SO MANY people not get this?

Glad he lost, the company should have been able to deny the contract for what ever reason they liked. I still don't understand how the man got on television in the first play. He was an extremely boring host.

Added: I only skimmed, but possible breach of contract is the only thing I can see here. But it doesn't seem like a contract was signed yet. I don't care enough to read it all though.

I thought I'd read only a few paragraphs, but could stop. Looks like something the hybrid offspring of Fox News and The Onion. Stein claimed that there was a breach of contract, but he couldn't objectively prove that it had been signed, effectively hiring him.

Hey now Fox News is the most unbiased news ever.  I mean they actually have a show called fair and balanced.  I don't know about your T.V., but I believe everything mine tells me ever.  ::)
