RadioAtheist

Split and started as new intro.

Hi! I'm Mr. Bill Wise, (a Rational-Atheist, myself)- and I live in West Hartford, Connecticut! I've been an ATHEIST (since 1970),-when I turned age 20, (way back then), and I'm (OF COURSE) still an atheist TODAY-(in April of 2012). I'm a young-thinking, and young-feeling, and young-looking age 62, (today). I want to THANK Eleanor Clift, (VERY MUCH), for taljking about THIS VERY EXCELLENT Atheist Web-Site (on "last week Sunday's--April 8) (John) McGlaughlin Group (PBS) political-news (interview) show! I wouldn't have even known of this site--EXCEPT for Eleanor talking about it "on the air"! AGAIN...THANK YOU VERY, VERY, MUCH, Eleanor!!! Since (about) "late"-1995, (and continuing up to today--2012)-- I've been calling into the "LATE-NIGHT-RADIO-CALL-IN-TALK-SHOW" called: "COAST TO COAST AM" (on ATHEISM, and issues related to ATHEISM, the WALL of Separation Between State and church issues, SCIENCE ISSUES (especially ASTRONOMY & COSMOLOGY) since I am an Amateur Astronomer, myself,(and I've been interested in the SCIENCES (especially ASTRONOMY) since I was a small boy! I've (not only) "argued with the "HOSTS" of "COAST"" on atheism VS. crazy-christianity, (and other religions, and "spirituality" in general), with the HOSTS of that show: (formally) "ART BELL", and much more recently: George Noory, Ian Punnett, John B. Wells, George Knapp, and Rob Simone, etc,...BUT: I've talked with A LOT of (actual) SCIENTISTS, (MOST OF THEM being atheists themselves) as guests on that show, TOO! (I was on the air...even last night (which was (late)--Friday Night April 13th, 2012. I'm a Liberal-Progressive-Democrat, too, (especially concerned with civil liberties and civil rights issues)! SO, again, I want to THANK Eleanor Clift for tlaking about THIS GREAT ATHEIST SITE!!!

Hi! I'm Mr. Bill Wise,

Hello bill, welcome.
You could start your own introduction with that post if you want to.

I like radio, our public broadcaster (ye I live in one of those leftie socialist hell countries) does an excellent job .  Radio doesn't require your full attention, you hear programs on subjects you wouldn't necessarily seek out but it's good to hear things you didn't know you'd benefit from.

Anti-antidisestablishmentarianism

Welcome to the forum.  Oohhh I love the old separation of church and state issue!  Anybody hear the Catholic priest on Fox news complaining about free contraception for women being in the new health care bill.  He said he shouldn't have to pay taxes for women to have sex.  Umm... you are a Catholic Priest.  You don't pay any damn taxes.

Hah! Yeah, better to use taxes to pay for welfare for babies born into poor households, eh?

There was a better one I saw last Thursday on the Daily Show.  A congressman for OK passed a law banning abortion in that state.  A woman tried to take it all the way to the point that a man had to be with a woman to umm do the deed. It would be considered murder if he wasn't with a woman.  Killing babies haha.  That part was turned down, but when asked about it the Congressman said "that would be a woman telling a man what to do with their body.  I mean what man would tell a woman what to do with their body?"  The guy interviewing him said uhhh... YOU!!
