I hope this thread is just for a bit of fun, but I really don't condone the torture of anyone no matter how badly they have behaved. Severe punishment yes, but not torture. One of the reasons I have faith in the 'Western World' is for our rise from the dark ages where torture was common place unlike several states or regimes which are in existence today.

My personal least favourite torture would be the Sarlac(sp?) pit in Star Wars - that was scary!

I suppose I could have titled the thread poetic justice.  :-\

You know that show Wife Swap, where families switch wives for a week and the family has to live by the switched wife's rules?  Well, I think there needs to be something called Life Swap, where politicians are made to switch lives with the poorest of their constituents for a month to see what it feels to live like a majority of those in poverty do on a daily basis.

Seconded!

Yeah, that is nasty! Only one known survivor.

There was a program similar to this in the UK a few years back called Tower Block of Commons. It was pretty good.

I would put the person in a tiny room with a puppy who is being crate trained an leave them in there for an hour. That should drive them crazy.

^ OK, well losing about 4 months' sleep when you have a new baby is pretty bad, too. ;D

If you know someone that deserves some pain and you have an inspired idea this thread is for you.

I've always been partial to the idea of chaining the culprit spread eagle and naked. Tape his pecker to his belly. Step back about 50 feet and use an air powered BB pistol to shoot at his nuts.

Same thing works for the bitches as well...just different things to aim at.

And then there's the crushed glass in their fish heads and rice bowl.

And then there's the nails or shell casings hammered into their knee caps while they're sitting down...then forced to stand up.

The essence of the mind is not in what it thinks, but how it thinks. Faith is the surrender of our mind; of reason and our skepticism to put all our trust or faith in someone or something that has no good evidence of itself. That is a sinister thing to me. Of all the supposed virtues, faith is not.
