greetings. it's nice to meet you all. i am an atheist of three years, and being sixteen, this means i have adopted such a title since i was thirteen.

being someone from atheist forums, its nice to settle elsewhere. i enjoy video games, books, literature, and equality overall. i'm also a big supporter or gay rights, and am somewhat sensitive toward the subject.

anyway, i suppose i don't have much to say. it's nice to meet you all, nonetheless.

Hey, Flutter, a warm welcome to you from a fellow newbie! :)

Which video games and books have you been playing/reading lately? Which are your favourites and why?

I'm also a fan of 'gay rights'. Or, more properly, 'human rights' -- we all deserve dignity, respect, and freedom of choice.

video games ~

mass effect two ; i need to replay it due to miranda dying. and i want to have all my crew members survive before i transfer to mass effect three.

devil may cry four ; i wish i could go through all of this. but i loathe nero and kyrie's relationship. so i may just stop and worm my way into the comforting hold of fanfiction.

the last remnant ; a unknown title among many, but i adore it, personally.

final fantasy xiii ; i plan on getting the sequel despite me having yet to finish the original games. it's good. very long. but i personally enjoy it.

dead space two ; i wanna play it. may wet myself. but i'm looking forward to getting it.

red dead redemption ; simply amazing.

books  ~

monsters of men ; i finished it recently. very good, the ending surprised me and i'm planning to make a fanfiction based on an alternative end.

warriors ; a little kiddy. about cats with a few errors here and there, but i enjoy it.

a child called 'it' ; sad. and difficult to read without tearing up.

the lost boy ; the sequel. easier to read without me becoming upset.

and, yes, everyone deserves equality. to label something as 'wrong' or 'disgusting' just because one man may love another or a woman may adore another female is horrible, in my opinion.

Hey, I know The Last Remnant! I always liked the Sovanis -- cat people with 4 arms is just awesome! Square Enix puts out some neat stuff, eh?

As for the books, I know of the Warriors, but I haven't read those books, although I've talked to kids and teens who have, and who have really enjoyed them. I did read both A Child Called It and The Lost boy more than a few years back.... and man, that stuff just stays with you. What insanity for a child to have to endure.

agreed. i'm planning to adopt a child in the future. i would never want to physically assault or starve them. such a thought makes me cringe. it's sickening to imagine adults harming those who rely on them the most.
