I am glad to be here. Though I'm not sure what else to do in this post. I guess I could talk about myself. Hmm... what would you like to know? I live in Texas, and have been a life-long democrat. However... I saw something on TV today that made me reconsider at least one member of the Republican Party. I suppose my political beliefs are a bit shaken.

I love Yakisoba Noodles, which I take to work when I can. In any case, glad to meet all of you.

Do you believe the provision of Yakisoba Noodles should be socialised so all members of society can enjoy the joy of said noodles, or do you support a merit based system where only the elite get to scoff all the noodles?

Hello and welcome to HAF, Wessik. For some reason you remind me of somebody who was a member here before I was. Maybe it's the unusual German vocabulary used in your signature (that is German, right?)  That fellow was a Go player like myself, and in fact it was his use of a banner from this site in his signature on a now-defunct Go forum that brought me here. I don't think I ever properly thanked him for that. I guess my nostalgia is getting away from me here.

Hmm.. Recusant... I knew that name sounded familiar... A while back I bought an ink drawing of anold man playing chess. Signed on the page was that name. It wasn't your drawing, was it?
