So after I went to the mall for last minute Christmas shopping I saw some guy who looked like he needed a ride... it was about 40 degrees out and raining pretty hard and I figured it would be something nice to do for someone on Christmas eve. I asked if he needed a ride and he was like "yeah man thanks so much just trying to get home to see my wife our car just broke down" he hopped in and he has this backpack on his lap. On the radio station I was listening to the guy says it looks like someone needed extra cash today because at Wells Fargo (which is on the same street he was on/I was heading home) some guy just robbed the bank and supposedly on foot.

At this point I'm freaking out and for some reason I say "hey man whats with the backpack? Whats in the bag?" He say's "none of your f-kn business." We get close to a red light and I'm about to knock this guys lights out and I ask again "Whats in the bag man!" he says again "none of your fkn business!!" and all of a sudden jump's out and left the backpack in my car!

I think this may be on the news sometime later tonight or tomorrow guys this is crazy!

The essence of the mind is not in what it thinks, but how it thinks. Faith is the surrender of our mind; of reason and our skepticism to put all our trust or faith in someone or something that has no good evidence of itself. That is a sinister thing to me. Of all the supposed virtues, faith is not.

I do. I pick up hitchhikers and if they are going somewhere not too far from my end destination, I usually drive them there too.

I think I would have shat a brick in your situation. Did the police take the bag?

That's odd, sounds like an urban legend ;D

If the bag meant so much to him, why would he leave it? He probably thought you were trying to rob him, so he left it there as a distraction ;)

Most people I pick up are actually backpacking tourists, so not Norwegian. Here or there though, The Asmo is not afraid of strangers. Most people are OK enough and besides, if someone is desperate enough to steal Old Rusty at gun point, well, then they are REALLY desperate.  :P

Heard about that nine year old who took the NY subway alone..? He survived. Why would I not?

So is this a real intro?
I think it was a joke, to which I fed the very obvious punchline.
