Just discovered the whole series on playback on my cable subscription, just past halfway of series 3 now.

So if you could only have one superpower (and not Peter's ! (he could absorb other people's powers)) what would it be?

I'd definitely go for being able to heal like Claire as I could settle down and plan for a century (millenia) long life.

I'm in the process of watching it, too!

The power to be invisible would be pretty cool, but I would like to be able to turn it on and off. I also thought Eve's power was very cool - the power of persuasion.
"We've thought of life by analogy with a journey, with pilgrimage which had a serious purpose at the end, and the THING was to get to that end; success, or whatever it is, or maybe heaven after you're dead. But, we missed the point the whole way along; It was a musical thing and you were supposed to sing, or dance, while the music was being played.

I noticed your comment, that was one reason for starting the thread.

I am very impressed with Zachario Quinto's acting. Up until this I'd only seen him play the younger Spock in the latest Star Trek film and he did a very good job of that and in Heroes he can go from nice to nasty in the blink of an eye.

I would love the power to freeze time. In the morning, all I want to do is just go back to sleep  :D

It would be interesting if time froze while one were asleep. You'd be able to live 24 hours a day. One would probably have to sleep twice a day.

That's okay, this one loves to sleep.

Despite it's near uselessness (other than being fun) I'd love to be able to fly.

Useless? When was the last time you sat in a traffic jam?

Honestly -- about 20 years.  That's the benefit of living close to work.  The courier idea isn't bad tho, as long as I didn't drop anything.  I'm afraid pizza delivery would end up in falling pizzas all over the city -- which might be interesting in its own right.

never seen 'Heroes' but I think I'd have to go for the Midas touch (so long as I could turn it on and off at will). Then I could retire to a nice little house on a Mediterranean island and do whatever I wanted for the rest of my life, just turning the odd stone to gold now and again to pay my way. The simple life!
