It has become more apparent to me in the short time since he passed just how incredible he was as a businessman and innovator than I ever realized before. From what I understand he has set up Apple so far ahead with plans and ideas, that it will be quite a while before anything they release is completely devoid from his influence. Which I, for one, am very grateful for.

I'm old enough to have remembered when he first came out with the Apple computer in the late 70's, and the fact that he stayed relevant and innovative until 2011 is simply amazing. As you point out, his relevance is not over yet.  Had he lived a normal life span of 80 years or so, there is no telling what he could have accomplished.

He was the messiah of technology and the iCult will miss him.

If he really was behind most of decisions at Apple he was marketing genius more so than anything else.  I don't know if he wrote a book on marketing but if he did I need to read it.

Was reading an article about him earlier, and apparently during his final days the only people he saw were his family, one meeting for his biography, and one meeting telling Apple exactly how they should go about releasing the new iPhone. That shows dedication right there.

10 years ago we still had Steve Jobs, Bob Hope & Johnny Cash ....now we have no jobs, no hope & no cash!!
I suspect there's a ton of HAF folks on Reddit.
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.

We can all be gittish at times, right? But does this go too far Mr Jobs? Or is this just sour grapes from the author?

I think there is a lot of truth in that article. Steve Jobs built monopolies that Bill Gates could only have dreamed of.
