So while browsing through my lj comm 'wtf inc' I came upon this gem of a video. What is frightening is her sincerity and her seemingly flawless 'logic'.

Behold the video!
HERE!
She has the blood of reptile....just underneath her skin...

Time for another flood to wipe these people off the earth.

Wiggum:"You have that much faith in me, Homer?"
Homer:"No! Faith is what you have in things that don't exist. Your awesomeness is real."

"I was thinking that perhaps this thing called God does not exist. Because He cannot save any one of us. No matter how we pray, He doesn't mend our wounds.

A friend of mine posted a link on his facebook page to a really hardcore evangelical forum site recently, and for the past week or so I was trolling it. I got banned twice, presumably for being "disrespectful" (I agreed with another member that one of the mods had multiple chins... not sure what I did the second time). Those people would love this girl to death, except that she's black. And she's not wearing a plain dress. And her hair's kinda fancy. Ok, nevermind.. they'd hate her too. Seriously, those people are NUTS.

(Omitted snide play on meaning of "coming.")

I don't see anything particularly exceptional in the video.  For nearly two thousand years there have been sincere dunderheads saying the same thing this young woman is saying. Including the part about their god speaking to them personally.
"Religion is fundamentally opposed to everything I hold in veneration — courage, clear thinking, honesty, fairness, and above all, love of the truth."
— H. L. Mencken

According to her, god created multiple erffs. It is also comforting knowing that her god suffers from Premature Ejaculation as well.
"He that displays too often his wife and his wallet is in danger of having both of them borrowed." -Ben Franklin

"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." -credited to Franklin, but not sure.

Quickly. Like NOW.

What I'm wondering is, why the sense of urgency? If I were a Christian, and I'd been subjected to so many ridiculous false alarms (the recent rapture debacle comes to mind) and God is all-forgiving... I think I can finish my damn sandwich and get some light shopping done.

I didn't have enough attention span to listen to whole whole video but did click around to the "related" videos.  The crazy is not alone.

From personal experience I can honestly say, crazy is NEVER alone.

wrath and dark clouds gather force.
