Read a story in the paper today that really pissed me off.

For those of you who speak norwegian, here it is: http://www.dagbladet.no/2011/08/11/nyheter/innenriks/bergen/utoya/17640992/

For those of you who don't, here is the gist of it:
People in the city of Bergen have made a shrine to the casualties of the Utøya attack at a monument called "The Blue Rock".
Apparently some ladies from an as of yet unknown christian denomination have been going around asking people, including kids, if they have accepted Jesus or "If they are gonna burn in hell like a lot of those kids certainly are", and handing out pamphlets about a supposed prophesy made in Finland in 1961.

Any thoughts?

It just hit me... 22/7... pi.   :o  It is no surprise to me that there are religious folks talking like that.  We have them in our country.  Westboro Baptist.

Seriously, what can you do with nutters like that?  Ragnar's right - say, for the sake of argument, the cops found a charge to arrest them on.  They'd be in their element: martyrs for their faith.

Me, I don't discriminate. If a situation arises where I am inclined to use physical force, I'll do so no matter the direction of my opponent's genitalia.

That said, in this case, the best policy is to ignore the problem until it goes away. Unless you are willing to put yourself in jail for quite some time, any non-violent reaction you might have would be just the publicity such a person desires.
