Scientists Debunk Theory on End of 'Snowball Earth' Ice Age

ScienceDaily (May 26, 2011) — There's a theory about how the Marinoan ice age -- also known as the "Snowball Earth" ice age because of its extreme low temperatures -- came to an abrupt end some 600 million years ago. It has to do with large amounts of methane, a strong greenhouse gas, bubbling up through ocean sediments and from beneath the permafrost and heating the atmosphere...

The existance of evidence to support the extreme ice age called 'Snowball Earth' is abundant and increasing. However what caused the condition to end is a very different issue. And these findings throw out one potential cause.

Interesting stuff as the Earth's atmosphere after the Snowball was fundamentally different to that before it. Before the 60/70 million year period free oxygen was rare, after it, abundant. This change has been posited as the change that enabled animal life to become multi-cellular and actively mobile.

I'm putting on my Glenn Beck glasses and standing in front of my chalkboard, so you must listen intently and believe in what I'm not exactly saying.

I'm not SAYING that the end of "Snowball Earth" coincided with the end of one of the Mayan long count calendar's eras.  But just think about if it was.  I'm not SAYING the Mayans' calendar has any special powers that reach back into history.  It's quite interesting, however, that the Snowball Earth ends, the Mayans develop their calendar PERHAPS two cycles later that point to the calendar PERHAPS causing the end of the Snowball Earth as we know it, and that George Soros uses ice in his drinks that comes from water that PERHAPS was part of the natural water cycle evaporating, raining, freezing, and melting all the way back to SNOWBALL EARTH!  I'm not SAYING that Snowball Earth is a conspiracy of the Soros machine and Soros media promoting an atheist, socialist agenda with their puppet in the White House.  These are very.......dangerous.......people.  I just took off my glasses to emphasize my point.
