The Magic Pudding

My wife has taken my daughter to Sydney overnight for a sporting event.
This is an occasion for a glass of wine and a movie I haven't watched for a while.
Pirates of The Caribbean 1, loud.

Congrats Tank.
Nothing has ever made me as happy as my kids when they were little.

Whoo hoo!!!  Sold all but 6 of the 40 some odd chicks, sold out of eggs, have someone coming to look at the last 6 chicks after they get off work, set another 5 gallon full bucket of peaches on to cook down and have a ton more to go pick, it might rain, have a few egg orders if my pullets start laying normal sized eggs here soon, should have a box or 2 of free canning jars show up sometime soon....

Only thing that would make this better if for hubby to get a job offer :crossfingers:

Give me credit for not being in jail. I was talking to a fellow Atheist at the bus stop on the way to a support group in Seattle when I Christian over-heard us talking. He starts talking and so I argue his points. Instead of doing the intelligent thing and having a good conversation he hauls off and hits me in the jaw. I know self defense and all, but I did'nt hit him back, as much as I wanted to, I just smiled at him and told him to do it again. My god he had a good punch too...jaw still hurts, but police showed up, got the information, asked if I needed a hospital. They were actually really nice to me, I was impressed. Dude got arrested for A&B, but I hate courtrooms, so I told them I wasn't going to press charges.  Go figure I run into the one nutcase...

Holy crap, guy, are you ok?  I don't think I would have pressed charges either, but I do think I would have made a point about who was the atheist and who was the Christian and who did the punching.  That's ridiculous!

Well done. I guess that makes you the better christian for turning the other cheek, huh?

I feel kinda bad because my mom is spending A LOT of money on things I need (and want) for the new apartment... As well as new glasses, birthday present etc. Maybe I should do something nice for her (without spending money).
Any ideas?

I hope you reconsider your decision to not press charges.  It has nothing to do with religion, and everything to do with tagging a violent person as such.

I'm glad to hear that you're generally well.
