It's the second nasty day in a row, and my daughter has a nasty cold >:( Every time she sneezes she covers her face in snot. If you don't wipe it away immediately, she'll wipe it all over herself and lick it off. EW!

I just got my first paid request for decorated sugar cookies!  300 of them.   :eek:

The cookies will look like coins.  It will feel weird writing out "In God We Trust" in icing 150 times.  Hrm...

First, rock on!.. I wanna see a pic of that.

Second, the weather people are forecasting Ragnarok II Electric Boogaloo in the region.  Last year the area lost about 10,000 electric poles.  We were out of power for over a week.  Glad my mom gave me an old gas powered 'genny and I remembered fill a gas can before the storm hit.

The winter here just doesn't end. Snow everywhere and temperatures far below the freezing point (-4C/25F). I have enough of this and just wish that I was somewhere on a tropical island with lots of sunshine (and booze).

Hi all, sorry I haven't been on lately.  Been doing a bunch of stuff in real life.  Like getting engaged ^_^.  The ring I got Heather finally came in after waiting more then 2 weeks for it (Apparently they kept losing people who could make it).  Her mom gave me her old wedding ring which had a sapphire for a main stone and 2 small diamonds for the side stones.  I got the jewlers to use all the stones (which was a bitch to do btw) and add 2 slightly larger diamonds on the side and have the ring made out of white gold.  Unconventional but Heather loves it.

Anyway I should be back for a while ^_^.  Now I got to sift through days worth of posts :-(
