if there were no need for 'engineers from the quantum plenum' then we should not have any unanswered scientific questions.

I found out today that my great uncle died from a yellow jacket sting.  I had been putting off visiting due to cost of flying out to NC thinking I'd be able to go later this year after I found a job and wish I had just gone anyway.  :verysad:

Today is a memorable day. It is my father's 72nd birthday and my 3rd year at HAF  :bananacolor: .

Happy Anniversary to you, Tom62.  I hope your father is a healthy and happy 72 year old.

well its kinda biggy and in greek but it goes about like this...
title is
how can flowers know what insects need in order to pollinate them since they dont have a brain
yes biggish title
the very first sentence is that he has not studied science, he is just a person who loves to observe nature.
He says that when he was 23 yrs old, he took a walk in the forest and saw an orchid that looked incredibly like a bee. Scientists, he says, told us that flowers will sometimes look like insects in order to attract some. But, he continues, that scientists dont tell us how can a flower know what an insect looks like since it has no eyes or no brain. Mentions the same stuff about flowers that smell like animal corpses.
how can a flower know about intense colors, and he also goes on to trees and their fruit. How does a tree know that animals will eat it and carry its seed somewhere else?
Could darwin's theory be true, he asks? But, he carries on, for the human mind it remains unexplained how can something without eyes or brain know so much about its surroundings, there is no logical explanation, he says.
He concludes:
could all that be a creation of a wise god, that he created all with wisdom and beauty? This is something for all to consider

just a load of cr4p in my opinion

I go off to Lourdes tomorrow, and I am a cocktail of emotions.

I'm excited, scared and very tired already and we don't go anywhere till 11am tomorrow morning. Have a slight feeling of dread too, probably from the thought of getting up before 9am for Mass for a week when I've been used to sleeping in till 4pm, haha. Pilgrimage factor aside, I'm hoping that this year I'll be able to do some exploring and see the beauties of the place properly. It'll be a tad bit difficult with Mum being Paranoid and demanding me at her side at all times, but I'm sure I'll manage :>

My mum is very much against homosexuality and bisexuality, which happens to be very bad for me.  :shake:

Journay to France starts in like, less that 3 hours.
I've quite possibly shat enough bricks to build a damn castle.

So, you should probably start sending your sister monthly checks to ensure her "cooperation" in this matter.  ;)
