Today, during emergency incident training, it was recommended that we set our phones to a loud, annoying ringtone if work calls so we wake up, and also so we don't hate our normal ringtone. I'm trying to figure out which band I hate the most that I should use. So far I've come up with Creed, Blink-182, and Ace of Base

Those are all pretty bad, but I vote for 311.

My prodigal return to HAF. I've been gone so long I'm practically re-noobified.

Welcome back! Tank and Tanker now? Yikes.

You could use Justin Bieber.

Thursday is a holiday! ;D It's a religious one, I think...but that doesn't matter in the slightest! ;D

What holiday is that?  Where I live, this Thursday is this Thursday.

I found it - Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) - celebrating the Eucharist.  We don't celebrate that in Texas, but we have a city named Corpus Christi - nice town on the Gulf of Mexico.

Yes, that's the one. Brazil is still a mostly catholic country. I don't mind the holiday though (of course)  - couldn've have come at a better time.

Tanker was here years before me AND he's actually been in a tank on a regular basis.

My husband had a card, a present, and a birthday cake waiting on the kitchen counter when I got home from work.  He made the cake himself - chocolate cake with chocolate icing and decorated with strawberries.  I'd have a piece, but it's nearly 4 am here and I'm afraid it would keep me awake.  (I get off work at 2 am.)

Happy birthday, Velma! :)

That is SO cute, what your husband did for you!

Happy Birthday, Velma!  You've got a good husband there; I'd hang on to him if I were you!
