I'm pondering whether I should help my son (he's 16, but 17 next month) get his tattoo fixed...the tat he got without my knowledge and hid behind a sweatband for three weeks....he rushed the guy through the last half of it because I started calling him wondering why he was late.....now the D & O have weird dots in the middle, looks like two boobs....gotta love the teenagers.

I secretly got a tattoo when I was fourteen, but I was able to hide it for quite awhile. Eventually my younger sister found out and told on me.

If he got a home made prison style tat. I would first talk to  him about the dangers (they are very real, its a needle and probably gets changed out as much as a junkies) then I would make him keep it messed up as a reminder of his stupidity.  If he went to a licensed artist report his stupid ass for illegally tatooing a minor then make your son keep his messed up tat as a reminder not to go behind  your back. In other words let him keep it as a reminder not to do dumb things. We learn best from our mistakes, a messed up tat is a permanent reminder (at least till hes 18).

I have a few tatoos I took a good long time deciding on them, checked out the artist and his book (they all keep books of photos of thier work). Tatoos are for fucking ever It's not something anyone should rush into. I hope that the letters are not from the name of a girl. Tatoos are permenent, relationships not so much. If he got his own name I'm sorry but I think that's cheesy.

(my spelling, grammer, and punctuation suck, I know, but regardless of how much I read they haven't improved much since grade school. It's actually a bit of a family joke.

Agreed. I would only ever have one woman's name tattooed on me: MOM

I just returned home after 2-1/2 weeks of living in my childhood home.  Dad passed away and mom needed me.  Am I a good daughter or what?  Now it's time to put my house back in order...the place needs a good cleaning and my cats look skinny.  I think they missed me.

Hat: That's a tall order.  I could probably summarize any one of them, but sheesh.

As for your 2-d teacher, maybe she needs more depth of character!

I had a physics teacher like that.  I dropped the class and read the rest of the book on my own...  (not always an option).

My fave "extra credit question" was:

"Describe the universe in 10 or fewer words.  Give 3 examples."

You are a very good daughter indeed.
I was fortunate that my older brother handled much of the parental home when my folks passed.

Hug them cats for me!

Yes, that is what first came out of my mouth was the "danger" talk.  And he did go to a licensed shop and I thought about going Ape Shit over there but am really not that upset.  Not to mention my son's 6'4" and has a beard, although they are supposed to make a copy of the license, I think.  I am going to let him keep it and get it fixed when he gets to San Fran after his senior year on his own.  The initial shock has worn off,  but other than him crashing his first car this is the first major thing he's done, and I guess I count myself lucky (and my mom reminds me constantly about how lucky I am) so I guess the old curse didn't work.  "You are going to have a kid just like you day, hehe"  Ah, parenthood...

Heh, yeah. It's not the whole doing it that annoys me,it's the fact that every topic has at least 20-30 pages of stuff and shortening that in 2 days is a bit No. I'm well into the second topic and almost starting a third one, so I should have it for him for next Tuesday, this time next week at the latest o3o-b

As for 2D Woman, I laughed at that x) While I do hate her and her weird methods, I'll admit that I like her because out of the 3 teachers we had for her class (2 subs and her) she's the only one who actually enforces working towards deadlines and actually makes us work. I've heard from others who've had her in the past that she has a bad habit of getting pregnant at awkward times of the year.

One can only wonder how many friggin kids she has now .___.

I'm thinking about why it's impossible to find a good tailor?  I've asked and no one give me a reference, I look online and there are few reviews.  I need a tailor, do people not use them anymore?

Thinking about what to buy once we go shopping. Since I now use my own money and not the parents, I tend to think more about the prices of stuff I buy. I know I'll be buying a few books to read and possibly a CD & DVD or two, but I'll try and not go overboard and buy on impulse |D;;;

Hahaha!  I never much liked Winnie, something strange about a bear playing with a boy and not wearing pants.  I mean why not pants?  Strange.

I'm suddenly angry right now. I don't know why but whenever I think of tomorrow, going back to College and what the day could hold, I get angry.

This could be because my best friend likes to poke, prod and tickle me a lot for no reason on the bus trips up and down. Now, I'll no doubt be tired tomorrow so I'll be planning to sleep on the bus trips. I did this one day a few days before I joined here, and we had 3 free hours that day so I decided we'll go to the library to work on some Assignments. We got there at 10:25am and from then to about 11:05am all he did was poke me,turn my mouse and keyboard upside down, move the computer monitor, steal my glasses (which is a dickmove, I can't see a PC screen properly without them on) and tug at my arm when I went to type. I calmly told him to settle down and to do some work and he went "Nooo~ I'm bored!" and after another few minutes when I asked him why he was being like this, he said "Because you ignored me on the bus this morning" What? What? WHAT? I asked him if it was OK to sleep on the trip up and he said that it was OK, so where the hell is he pulling this You Ignored Me bullshit from? Ugh, this could also just be me just PMSing, but I highly suspect that the back of my mind is already getting angry over possible events that could happen in our three free hours tomorrow. This is the downside to being in a class full of teenage guys, they rarely listen when you want them to >:/

jahser78w3 sorry for the rant guys :x
