For the first time in my short 18 years of living, I'm being left home alone for the entire weekend till Monday.
I'm excited and a bit scared. I've never had to fend for myself for so many days before so it'll be interesting and educational.
Poor Mum probably won't stay till Monday as she says though, because I know her and she's a hardcore worrier.
Next few days will be...interesting :V

In one hour from now I'll be on my way to Bayern. No, not to the Oktoberfest in München (Munich), but to a concert of Blue October in Erlangen.

Today I am thinking about tolerance and the fact that I don't think I have any.  As I get older I am less and less able to just let things "roll off" and I am feeling the need to less and less as well.

People at work are always pointing the finger at everyone else when they screw something up.

Professors at school irritate me to no end with their unclear instructions and changing of due dates, and the miserable group projects that make me have to deal with more lazy people with excuses that aren't even creative.

My son is always saying "he's bored" and I wonder how he can be bored; I am never bored because I don't have time to be.

My boyfriend compains that I don't jump his bones in the morning and then mopes all day for weeks and thinks the constant complaining is going to make me feel frisky towards him?

My cat has a fascination with rubber bands and feels like I should throw them at her request regardless of what I may be doing.

Ugghh, do they still make Calgon?  :hissyfit:

Some girl tried hitting on me today, so I kindly let her know that I was a homosexual.
Her reaction: utter disbelief.

It was funny, because she thought i was joking, and she still thinks I'm joking. It's impossible for her to accept that I'm gay. She told me "Well, you don't look gay.", at the end of the conversation, which managed to piss me off.

This same girl didn't know what an atheist was when I first met her, and when I broke down the latin roots, (a, without. theo, god.) she told me "Oh, that's bad!"

/end flaming fag rant

You should probably warn her stereotyping is bad, and warn her all lesbians dont look butchy.  Maybe freak her out and plant lies in her head saying that, "so and so is a lesbian and she thinks your hot" to her.  Harmless fun ^_^ dont take it too far lol

In my English class last week, we watched an episode of The Twilight Zone called "To Serve Man", and I found it to be incredibly interesting to be honest. Afterward we got to write a nifty 2 page analysis of what we saw.
Being the tree-hugging, animal loving hippie that I am, I turned the entire thing into an animal rights thing, mostly about factory farming. My teacher actually liked my argument/rant though, and when I received the paper back she gave me a 99 (a point off for using British-English spelling. fdfasdf) and wrote a note saying "Nice coherent vegan argument!" with a smiley face!

And does anyone here watch The Twilight Zone? If the other episodes have messages in the plot, I might start watching that programme.

A great many do and most are enjoyable regardless. I assume that you mean the original (black and white) rather then the newer one. The older one is far better imho.

(my spelling, grammer, and punctuation suck, I know, but regardless of how much I read they haven't improved much since grade school. It's actually a bit of a family joke.

I'm pretty sure they all have messages in the plot.  Here's an episode guide.
