Julian Beever. He does the 3D sidewalk art. I find it fascinating. I would like to watch him create one to see exactly how he does it. Here's some examples:

When the alien invasion does indeed happen, if everyone would just go out into the streets & inexpertly play the flute, they'll just go. -@UncleDynamite

Some of my absolute favorite artists who are a huge influence on my own art are:

László Moholy-Nagy â€" This painting in particular is heavily influential in a lot of my graphic design work

Claes Oldenburg â€" My favorite sculptor. I've seen a lot of his stuff in person, but I haven't seen this one yet. He has a giant safety pin at the sculpture garden here.

Saul Bass â€" I like to incorporate a lot of hand-drawn elements in my graphic design, and Bass did it with such panache. I'm also really fond of hand-lettering.

I love artists and designers who challenge conventional rules. The Bauhaus crowd and Pop artists just blow me away.

Henry VIII get's credited with Greensleaves sometimes, that's my childhood ice cream van music, I'm a bit sceptical Henry really made that music.
