So how many of us, upon reaching 351 posts, had to look up LaetusAtheos?  I certainly did. :hide:
Oppose Abraham.

In the face of mystery, do science, not theology.

I had to look it up.
"One who joyously slays and devours young children"
How do these labels so accurately track the evolving atheist?
I swear at 340 posts I would have taken barely any joy at imbibing an infant.

Not I.
I would've had to, except I remember when a certain someone had it as their screenname.
Prayers that need no answer now, cause I'm tired of who I am
You were my greatest mistake, I fell in love with your sin
Your littlest sin.

wrath and dark clouds gather force.

Be aware that there are two totally distinct Latin words laetus.  The older one is, of course, an adjective meaning 'happy'.

Then towards the end of the western empire large numbers of Germanic tribesmen were settling within the boundaries of the empire.  Many of these came to some kind of legal arrangement to  be official settlers (we don't know precise details) and were known as laeti (singular laetus).  It's most likely from a Germanic word cognate with Eng. 'let' - i.e. 'allowed ones'.  By the 5th century it meant pretty much the same as 'serf'.

So you guys could be 'atheistic serfs'.
