McQ

Hey folks. A general announcement that if I see your profile in here, and you have posted that you have a MySpace account, or are even part of another forum, I usually check it out.
For the MySpace people, I do often add you or request you as a friend. I figure folks here are in a bit of a minority so we could use the MySpace friends, plus it allows us to meet more like minded people.

So that said......

Don't freak out if I add you or request you as a friend. You are under no obligation to "let me be your friend" if you don't want! Also please do me the courtesy of at least acknowledging the offer, whether you want more friends or not. On the "Don't" list of requests, please don't just hit "Deny" and blow me off like I was some skeezy internet creep. I am just trying to create a network of people with similar morals, ethics, interests, etc.

Again, no one owes anyone anything when it comes to this, except a little courtesy. Remember, this is the Happy Atheist forum!  :)

I don't have a myspace (that I use regularly OR am proud of, OR can remember) but I DO have a Xanga that I use frequently.

I'm on myspace under laetusatheos.  If you sent me a friends request and I haven't replied that just means I haven't signed on in forever :)  I'm really bad about not checking on myspace and facebook.

I don't have a MySpace account.  I do have a blog, but I'm not fascinating enough to get a lot of traffic.

Hey, McQ...I thought MySpace was for kids!

Aw, c'mon MommaSquid....aren't you a kid at heart?

I have a boring MySpace account, but it's the only way to keep up with all of my young friends. They hang around with me because hanging out with old farts makes you appear younger. I'm not sure what I get out of it though.

Oh, I also get to keep track of my kids, since they're on my Friends list.

And naturally, I deleted mine a few months ago because it was becoming such a pain in the ass, and full of morons. NOW someone I like shows up!

MommaSquid....i added you; yet don't expect to be able to contact me on there because I only sign on about once a month or longer to okay friend requests.

Thanks laetusatheos, Mr. Joy and Squid for adding me.  MySpace is a great internet distraction for when forums just aren't enough!

Poor McQ is missing out on all the fun.      (I'm just teasing.)

I've just registered myself on myspacel. You can find me there under Tom62. For those of you who are on LinkedIn or Xinq, you can find me there as well under my real name ("Tom van Breukelen").
