Ooooh, I love Chess, but in a moderate kind of way.  I don't get into timing moves, and I don't know the labelling system for those squares to save my life.  I teach as many people who have never played as I can, but I often forget and don't hunt down opportunities to play at places that specifically cater to Chess playing.

One thing I'm proud of is the opening I've developed.  If I remember to do it properly, it's great for maximizing the mobility of the heavier hitting pieces and still leaving a defense that is costly for an opponent to move against.  My favorite anecdote (this is the kind that you hear from a crazy cool uncle who will tell you the scariest bedtime story and then steal your lollipop, take it with a grain of salt) is when I played against a guy who claimed he had been a Chessmaster at one point.  He probably was telling stories, but, hey, he left me with a great one, I beat him pretty thoroughly.

Knights are my weakness, but don't tell anybody that.  I'm mean, there's a logic to how all the other pieces move, but the knights are out of control the way the bounce around all over the place!  My psychological Achilles heel.
