My biggest problems

I can't sleep. I thought I was being tormented by a ghost, and I was scared out of my mind. I almost threw up I was so frightened... It turned out that my cat turned on the TV in the living room somehow.

But it really bothered me. I dust every entrance to my house with salt, cover every mirror not in use, and burn anything that might have caught ghosty energy... But after hearing the commotion in the other room, I started thinking about what I could have missed... And before writing this an idea hit me: What if it really was a ghost, and it turned on the TV so I'd let my gaurd down and it could... Do whatever it is that ghosts do. Throw knives, and make the walls bleed. That kind of stuff.  :verysad:

Man, you need to get over to the Dudeism thread.
Just get a vacuum cleaner, and I will use my Demon Atheist power to imbue it with ghost sucking ability.

Byronazriel

Vacuum cleaners can't do that already?  :raised:

Nah.  Luigi just bought his vacuum from pudding.
All hail Cancer Jesus!

I've noticed I'm peeing a lot... Like ten or twelve times today, normally it'd be somewhere around five.

Should I be worried about this?

The Magic Pudding

There is this old, about 30 second old piece of folk wisdom that may help.

If it's clear,
you're OK dear
If it's red,
you'll soon be dead
If you can't hold,
you're getting old.

Should I be worried about this?
Yes. Go to the doctor. Any change in bodily operation should be investigated. I was peeing and drinking a lot for quite a while before I was diagnosed diabetic. If I had gone to the doc earlier while in a pre-diabetic state I could possibly have avoided the full onset or at least delayed it for 5 to 10 years.
If religions were TV channels atheism is turning the TV off.

Remember, your inability to grasp science is not a valid argument against it.

If someone is drinking more water they will obviously have to pee more.  I could be wrong, but I would think it is only a sign of pre-diabetes or some other issue if one suddenly becomes more thirsty than normal and then drinks more thus causing more peeing.  Though, from what I know about the transition into diabetes it's not something that should be associated with sudden symptoms.

That all said, my general rule of thumb is that if you are worried about something related to your health go see a doctor...even without insurance the 75 to 100 doc visit is worth the peace of mind if you are well and really worth it if treatment is required.

DropLogic

My addiction to coffee.  I've seen conflicting research about the pros/cons of coffee.  Anyone wanna drop their 2c in my fresh boiling cup of delicious death?

Ihateyoumike

I say don't go to the doctor if you're worried about something wrong with your body. Use that money to buy some N64 games to play on your new TV!

Also, If you think you're giving youself an edge "counting cards" while playing poker, you're sadly misguided. 50-100 bucks a month playing poker... Big LOL for that one.

Is this a trollish thread?  :hmm:
Prayers that need no answer now, cause I'm tired of who I am
You were my greatest mistake, I fell in love with your sin
Your littlest sin.

Byronazriel

Counting is just part of my process, trimming the fat before I fry the meat basically.

This is really more of a whiney thread.

Should I be worried about this?

The possibilities include UTI (Don't dip your pen in company ink - the results can be... itchy  :P ), the beginnings of a wonderful kidney stone, the beginnings of a renal failure, viral and bacterial infections, a few other non-infectious conditions, intake of too much coffee, beer or mineralized water...

Just peeing a lot has a VERY long differential diagnosis. Get to a medical professional to shorten it a bit.

Hell yes you should be worried about it! You should be really, really worried about it. It should keep you up all night worrying about it.

Worried? Hell, terrified is more like it! You may well be soon for the shroud, young man. I'd start getting my affairs in order if I were you.

I just got back from the doctor's, and they tell me that peeing all the time is a perfectly normal consequence of drinking nothing but coffee and diet pepsi...

They gave me a pamphlet about proper hydration, and told me to come back in a few weeks if there's no change.
