Hi, im janice.
I am a Christian and decided to join because i was very curious and interested in what everyone thought :]
I am a devout Seventh-Day Adventist and a bit of both conservative and liberal. I would like to say that i have a strong faith, but hey, there's always room for improvement. I hate it when Christianity is misrepresented by self righteous people and i love it when people express themselves. I'm not a fan of profanities however i learned to deal with it :/.  Oh! and i am in no way going to try to evangelize.  I'm just interested in what people have to say, and i try to rectify offences that some Christians commit when they try to shove God down peoples' throats.

Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.

My parents were actually SDAs to begin with so they would of course introduce it to me. But of course i would have my doubts and carelessness.  However through my own experiences i found God within the church and found it to be very biblical in its teaching.

Interesting. Can you describe those experiences?

Well there was this one time where i had problems about family and friends and people would either fake interest/concern or simply tell me straight up to suck it up.  At that time i could care less about God.  However, due to the lack of support i received from my environment, i went to my last resort for help, which was  God.  I was reassured by both the bible and the fact that i really was not alone in my problems.  I ended up changing to a different SDA church because they seemed to be more understanding and genuinely concerned about my well-being.  And with my stay with them, everything we do is backed up by the bible so i usually have no problem with the stuff we do. :]
