Meet ....

[spoiler:teu7cqoa]Sally

and

Katy

Both 16 months old, have lived together as pups from 7 weeks old. Mistress could no longer look after them and they have been at the kennels for just one week. I get to collect them on Tuesday. Sally is a Jack Russell and Katy is a Pug + West Highland Terrier cross. Going to see them again tomorrow and Monday as well I would expect.[/spoiler:teu7cqoa]

Tank you opened a can of worms....  Do you realize how big my pet zoo/herd is?????

I take it these are new fur babies for you?  Congrats and enjoy!!!!
I have a page though, so as not to inundate this thread
Gus has developed arthritis and an odd little OCD behavior we are trying to sort out, thyroid was perfect last week, no change in meds
Kelvin's CRF has greatly improved, his numbers are now back in the normal range so any life expectancy rating has been lifted to most likely normal barring a backslide[/spoiler:3ad9j6q5]

We won't mention the chickens..........  Not even Mr Dipshit Fuzzyass

Ooh!!!  I finally got the pics to load!!  Katy is CUTE!!!!  Sally ain't so bad either!  (my computer is being snarky today)
Glad you're springing them from the shelter, no pet should have to live in one for long if at all.  Why must you wait until Tuesday???  I'd be wanting to take them home now!

My dog is called Sally as well, I have already posted her on the forums, freaky though.

The Dogs Trust has a very strict process for looking after re-homed animals. I have to go for a lecture on good pet care on Tuesday for an hour and I can't take them until I've done that. So Pam is going to visit today, I'm going to visit Monday and collect them on Tuesday  :yay:

Quite the little zoo there. I've never owned a reptile but have often considered getting one, but my wife would not be a happy bunny if I did.

Bearded dragons are a great reptile for the less reptile friendly family.  At one point I had two 6 ft. red tailed boas, a monitor lizard, a corn snake, a turtle and a bearded dragon.  Though admittedly, those were mainly my ex's pets.  I had the rats, the ferret and the cats.  It's so crazy only having a single cat in the family now...my house feels so empty!

Ah, good deal.  I wish us small rescues could do that out here.  As it is now I thoroughly interrogate my prospective adopters, make them bring their dogs over to my house for a few hours (if they have any) and then take the adoptees to their place for a few hours before letting them sign paperwork.  Out of nearly 100 adoptions so far I've only had the one with Sally and Schroeder fail.  Which sucks because I can't take another dog until they are both adopted.

Hahaha.  When I broke up with that boyfriend, he took almost all the animals, even the ones he didn't really like.  :(  Then when I moved to TX, I left my kitties with my parents and by the time I moved back to WA, my cats were used to living with my dad and his dog, so I decided to not break up that family.  The cat we have now, my son named her Cutie, is a relatively new addition.

I want a tank again now.  We used to have a 75 gallon with green severums, angels, jurapari, pearls, and a couple other south American cichlids.  We just live so far out now that I really don't think most fish would make the trip back to the house.  Plus I'd need to get another tank....
