Food allergies.... A rant

So tell me why they have to screw up the few foods I can buy premade???
I have a super sensitivity to nightshade fruits, including tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, and even potato peels (especially when green) due to the solanine content in them.  It's bad enough to induce respiratory asphyxiation if I eat anything with peppers.

So..... this makes it hard to eat damn near anything because paprika is in most processed food and now, due to america's heat kick thing going on, they add chili powder, cayenne, etc to everything.  Not that I don't like heat, I can eat my weight in wasabi and be extremely happy.  I cook nearly everything from scratch and only on the very few occasions eat anything premade.  Which brings me to my current rant.  There is this lemon chicken frozen dish that is just breaded chicken and a nice lemon sauce that you heat and eat, I get it at the 'local' HEB.  I buy 2 of these a month.  Bought groceries today and got them.  BUT when I opened the bag for dinner....... they freaking changed the damn sauce!!!!!  It now has little bits of red pepper in it!

DAMNIT.  I loved that sauce.

Hate food allergies.

Red pepper? Yech, that doesn't even sound like it would taste good. If they were going to change it, why not make it better, or at least not worse?  :hmm:

It sucks you can't those foods, though. My cooking is chock full of it.
