Great thread.
10 things about me, in no particular order.
1.   My wife asked me out, for our first date
2.   I have a natural ability to know how things work (useful in my job as a medical engineer)
3.   I mostly listen to rock music, but my favourite piece of music ever is J.S. Bach's Toccata and Fuge  in D minor played on a organ.
4.   I don't get football, it just a ball being kicked form one person to another? In fact not into competitive sport at all, prefer gym (3 or 4 times a week) as it's just me pushing myself.
5.   I hate knee jerk reactions.
6.   I like to lie in the bath in darkness with just a candle, listening to Blackmore's Night
7.   I love cooking, eating, wine and beer. Although I drink I never get drunk  (balance and moderation in all things)
8.   I shave my head twice a week
9.   I always initially treat people in the same way as I would like to be treated, with respect and courteously and i will always give any help to those I believe deserve it. However if this is not reciprocated then at best expect my indifference or if someone goes out of their way to cause me trouble, then i can be very patient in seeking justice. 
10.   When to Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses or Born Again Christians knock at my door, i like to scare them by answering the door in my Goat of Mendes tee shirt

Weird, because I have the opposite experiene - at least orally, the Swedes understand Norwegian better than the Danes

They tell me you have quite a lot of different types of Norwegian. 

Da kan du vel lese norsk også? Hvor i Sverige er du fra?  BH4, did you really have to Google that?  I know as good as none of any Scandinavian language, but I understood it immediately because every word is identifiable from German.  Mind you, I'm not saying that would work for any but the very simplest phrases.

Oh yes. I find some Norwegian dialects more difficult to understand than Swedish or maybe even Danish.

Hmm... some of our English dialects are pretty damn hard, too.  People from Glasgow can talk in their dialect and an English person won't get a word - if the Glaswegians don't want them to.  Or they can be reasonably comprehensible.  I've experienced this in action.
