If I Were A Christian

If I were a Christian I'd still be the same person I am now, born with a natural curiosity, so I'd be curious about where the Bible came from and what it meant, I'd want to know more about the church services I was witnessing and I'd want to know more about the nature of God.

I'd pray, but I'd wonder if my prayers were accomplishing anything.

I'd read the Bible but I wouldn't be able to not question a lot of what i was reading.

Being an avid reader I'd devour books on the subject of Christianity, God, anything I could get my hands on. I'd want to know the history of Christianity and of religion in general.

I'd have a good, hard look at the authority figures of my faith to see if they were actually what they claimed to be.

I'd be curious to see how scientific explanations lined up with Biblical accounts.

And after all that, I'd end up being an athiest, the very athiest I am now.
