I like how the atheist one simply states a fact, but the Christian one is a demand. How apt.  :raised:
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.

Oooh ... interesting observation!

This pastor is trying to cover up a well placed hole shot in his illusion of a homogenous God-fearing community with a large sign promoting said illusion in a simplified and slightly obnoxious way. Instead of letting people question, he feels threatened enough by free thought to react. This is my quick analysis of the situation.

Is it just me or do fundies use the same marketing firm as the penis pills people?

I agree, but sadly I can already hear the christian spin-reply to this:

"It isn't a demand! It is just said with enthusiasm!" or "The sign suggests that people should believe in God, so what? This is a christian country after all!"

We observe it as a demand, others would view it as acceptable/typical religious zeal.

Good for him!  Glad he can use his free speech without us non-believers reacting sourly and immaturely like the theists did.
