Anyone else actually watch this, or should I take it to a nerd forum?   :D

Frak You!  I wanna talk BSG!!!

Great series.  I've got the last special recorded, and my wife and I are gonna get some take-out and hunker down for the show...

My Guess?
[spoiler:1xuoas09]I'm betting everyone is a cylon...[/spoiler:1xuoas09]

Oh yeah, I went there,

I'm kinda thinking the same thing, Joe, but I'd feel a bit mislead.  Anyway, we're gonna find out what's been up with the visions of the Opera House since season 2  o_O

Oh, blargh, I meant to watch the Last Fracking Special.  Maybe it'll show up on scifi rewind...
[spoiler:1kkov9ei]I'm also thinking they might find some way, with that handy "naked singularity" (NO, BAD SCI-FI!) nearby to send all of them to the past, or habitable earth, where they give rise to the Greek myths, and perhaps, after a shift back to Kobol for a stint, all of this can happen again.   :D[/spoiler:1kkov9ei]

One thing is certain, they better end this masterfully or I'll not stop running it down.  >_<

Hey Pipebox - I've watched 'em all since the beginning.  I can't help but think this finale is going to be somehow disappointing.

[spoiler:3pe68s94]With all the action stuff they'll most likely want to run, with Galactica jumping in and fighting the Colony, or trying to save Hera, or whatever, how will they have enough time to give a satisfying explanation for everything we still don't know?

joeactor - I've had the same theory, only mine was busted when they found Earth.  I thought they were going to get back to Earth and all the "humans" living there were going to go, "Oh no!  The cylons are back!".  I figured my theory was doomed when they found earth with so many episodes left....

A popular theory around my office is that the beings of light (from the old series) are responsible for all the weirdness, but I don't see how that can be introduced in the last episode.  It would fit in with Baltar's angels, though....[/spoiler:3pe68s94]

Anyway, I'll have to DVR it tonight and watch it over the weekend.

PipeBox

Yeah, they have a great deal to answer, and I'm afraid they'll not give it proper attention.  10 hours...

I've never seen it, although I've heard nothing but good things about it. One of these days I'll get the entire series and watch them through though.

I agree with joeactor's theory.  Another theory I had was:   [spoiler:1el0juha]it's all a computer simulation.[/spoiler:1el0juha]

Whatever their explanation is, they better not give us a lame-ass ending to the series.

Will

I don't dare guess. There are so many things to cover... I've gotta find a way to kill 7 hours.
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.

PipeBox

7 and a half hours . . . Will, you live an hour ahead of me, no spoilers.

Oh, and it's been a helluva ride up to now.  Sometimes it gets a bit soapy, but the main plot is phenominal, at least it has been.  If they screw up the ending, ARGH...
