Prove it!

Update:
She called me tonight - basically apologized for upsetting me and told me the only alternative she currently sees in us staying together is if she was no longer a Christian, or if I converted to Christianity. I'm trying to explain to her that while it may seem that those are the only alternatives, they really aren't. I'm trying to make her understand other options - but I'm not sure if it will work. If I can get her to see loves as being enough... Who knows

I don't think we want to give up on such a good thing- but it's really looking inevitable from where I'm sitting.

Strange, I thought I had posted in this thread before.

Welcome to the forums, BadPoison. I've seen some of your posts and am glad you're participating. Also, yeah, it sucks about your girlfriend. I hope the story ends with a happy ending!

Thanks again -

It looks like the story will end with a happy ending - with me never getting involved with a theist again.

Ironically she irrationally couldn't be with an Atheist, just as I rationally can't be with another Christian. Does that about sum it up?

I don't know ... if it's any comfort I couldn't have a long term relationship with a believe, I couldn't even be real friends with one.
