Quote from: "Kyuuketsuki"ROFLMAO ... it's like that Monty Python Song innit?

Quote from: "Python"So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth,
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space,
'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth.

If there were such an advanced life form able to reach us, do you think we could fathom what they would be thinking?  It's like an ant being able to understand humans.  I'd like to hear more about the humanoid theory, though.  I'm intrigued as to why this was deduced as higher probability.  I'm not doubting it, I'm just curious.

If there is a better chance of an alien race being aggressive, shouldn't we be finding our Ender Wiggins now?

It's funny how I kind of had this conversation with a friend the other day about "aliens." I asked my friend, who is a Christian, "what do you think aliens would like if they exist?" She said to me that they do not exist because the surveillance camera in the sky only created Earth that can inhabit life forms; us humans. I told her well ya know, there are thousands of universes out there besides ours, so there is a probability that they can exist...She became frustrated and got kinda mad so I dropped it. In case you're wondering, this is the same "Sarah" girl that I posted about in another topic entitled, "My Best Friend's Girlfriend."

Anyways, I'd always pictured aliens to look nothing like human beings. I'd always picture them with a weird anatomical body like nothing we'd ever see or imagined, but that's just me because I love art and I tend to picture abstract things, even when it comes to aliens!!!

I know I'm preachin' to the congregation, we love Jesus but you'd learned a lot from Satan!
May the Lord forgive us, May the Gods be with us
In that magic hour, I've seen good christians, make rash decisions
Oh she do it, what happened to Religion? Oh sh

I don't think alien life would look human like. That is a little selfish dont you think? (I actually heard about this opinion in a documentary in national geographic. Havent thought about taht way before)
If we ever find alien life, I believe it's gonna be so very different from what we thought that well, I cant think of how it will look like heh
Maybe it wont even be carbon based like we are (why should it be anyway)

Good point.  Maybe they're already here and we just can't see them because they are not carbon based.  I better stop now.  I'm freaking myself out.

I would tend to believe they would not be anything we could imagine.  To make them in our own likeness is too much like our god creations.  On the other hand, if god made aliens (if they exist, obviously god did it) they would naturally be in his image also.

Hmmm ... the truth may well be out there but I guarantee that the X-Files and it's makers had no idea where it was.
