Atheist Mother

I watched this guy on Nightline (I miss Ted Koppel) last night.  What a crock of shit.  I was in tears over the father who brought his deathly ill toddler daughter to be healed.  Of course she wasn't.  I wanted to smack the preacher, he's such an obvious fraud.

Preacher beating the diseases out of people

Fraud crap that thousands fall for

If someone knows how to add the video that would be great, I have no idea.  Hahaha, I feel old.

I forgot to add he admitted to being a child rapist on Nightline.  He chalked it down to "I was 13, oopsie" but come on, once a child predator, always a child predator.

So, he's like Benny Hinn meets Emeril Lagasse meets Hell's Angels...

The video on that page wouldn't work for me, but I found this on YouTube:

It sickens me.

Evolved

I am, as usual, embarrassed but not surprised that this jerk is in my neck of the woods.  It never ceases to amaze me that the world is full of sheeple that would believe in a jackass like this.  Nothing like taking advantage of a person's desperation...oh wait...the churches do that, too.

I'd like to break his legs and then see if he can heal himself.  That sounds like a reasonable scientific experiment to me.  Let's REALLY see the proof.

It reminds me of a story my mother told me about a little old lady in a hospital bed next to hers when she was in the hospital for high blood pressure.  The story goes that this sweet old lady was telling my mom about a friend of hers that was on all sorts of medications, and she decided to go to a faith healer.  The faith healer told her that she had been cured and that she no longer needed to take her medications.  "She stopped taking her medicines" she said "...and you know what?  She died."

I just had another thought...can't these people be charged with practicing medicine without a license?

Doubtful, I'm pretty sure that it could be argued that everybody who seeks "healing" from these types of salesmen(women) knows they aren't going to a hospital or seeking any known "medical" treatment.

Unfortunately not since this is "protected" by its religious nature.
These folk aren't practicing medicine as much as performing their primitive rituals.
They don't perform surgery or dispense medication or even offer medical advice.
They just pray or offer prayers for healing.

Withholding medical services to a minor is not a crime if the minor is one's child.
They can't even be charged with a misdemeanor.
Even if they are charged with anything the case is usually thrown out of the courts.
What a crock.

Okay, so how 'bout practicing bullshit without a license? :D

Okay, I didn't find a bullshitting license, but I did find a Master's:

Of course not, they're religious. They're above (and below) the law.

If bullshitting required a license, lots and LOTS of people would be fined...

I'm going to get ordained minster license from this website: http://www.pulc.com/minister.php

For a small "love offering", I can start my cult just to see how many people will join.
