It's not that bad! 

Not brilliant either. Has a certain punch to it, but... The Asmo might sacrifice a minion or two for inspiration.

Mammoth

I saw a mammoth in my head today
but couldn't think of what to say
and so i ate some barbecue
and cuddled with my Mountain Dew

But then the clock struck 6 to 3
and I reached down to scratch my knee
and the mammoth stepped on Jack the Ripper
while I fumbled with my zipper

None of the warnings said were heeded
and as the last Ice Age receded
I looked up to see an asteroid
streaking brightly in the void

And on the asteroid I saw
the mammoth, with his woolly jaw,
pointing at me with his left tusk.
Then he flew away into the dusk.
