Well...time is relative. If I'm going to die in the vacuum of space then I might as well be zooming around at speeds high enough to stretch time. One minute to me could be twenty to you, you see.

My self-discipline sucks, I used to be much better at focusing and getting things done.

I have until Friday to hand my work in, nothing like a little stress to put things into perspective.

BUT you are messing up big time if you fail to live up to your abilities.  So get some perspective about what is in your long term best interests. Focus on your studies, Yes you can do it. When you are 40 or 50 or 60 you will be damned sorry if you  fail to take advantage of what you have going right now. Hit the books girl. I am one of your cheer leaders and I do know what I am talking about.

Not so bright apparently...I dropped out from university twice before because I couldn't deal with the disillusionment, though now that I'm older it's been easier to manage expectations and the reality they clash with. My current advisor is as great as they come and I feel like I'm in the right place at the right time. I really don't want to mess this up.

I will finish this paper by Friday.
