Bad Penny II

The New South Wales Premiere (does anyone else have premieres besides us and China?) today announced the end of greyhound racing.
There was unfortunate footage of trainers blooding dogs using piglets and possums.
I didn't like that, I like piglets and possums and am kinda indifferent about dogs.
There was an enquiry, apparently 20% of trainers are evil fucks.
Lots of dogs are offed every year because they're not fast enough.
So now lots of greyhounds won't be born so won't have to die and the sensitive souls can wring their hands over something else.
We still export live animals to bad foreign abattoir deaths, there's been lots of unfortunate footage of that but there's dollars and votes in it, mustn't be many from the dog people.
Take my advice, don't listen to me.

You sound somewhat other than indifferent on this matter BP III !

I am less than indifferent to how the greyhound racing industry feel about this law.

Just hoping someone is keeping an eye on what happens to the thousands of potentially redundant hounds.
Tomorrow is precious, don't ruin it by fouling up today.

I am indifferent though.
They're pushing the wastage issue, dogs being put down for being slow.
As long as that's being done in a humane way, it isn't for me more objectionable to pigs being killed for meat.  Ye people like their dogs but they might like pigs too if they got to know a few, uncooked ones I mean.
Take my advice, don't listen to me.
