There are so many good stories not yet filmed   [ even though remakes are constantly appearing ]  I was wondering what book i would like to see in cinema and what suggestions you might have.   I think I might like The Children  of the New Forest by Frederick Marryat  or a start on the Chronicles of Pern by Anne McAffrey.

Though I don't agree with many of Robert Heinlein's ideas, he was an author who was very influential on me as a young lad. I'd like to see well done film versions of The Moon is a Harsh Mistress and Stranger in a Strange Land. I also think Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy could be made into some excellent films.

Would love to see The White Dragon on the big screen. I really enjoyed her books about Pern.

Bad Penny II

I'd like to see Jack Vance's Cugel on screen, someone here described the books as a hoot, that's how I remember them.

Game of Thrones' Bronn might make a good Cugel.

Something by Alastair Reynolds maybe.
Take my advice, don't listen to me.

Alastair Reynolds would just about be doable now.
