The pointee of the pointed bone curse always dies, eventually.
It's an old aboriginal practice but don't give my that cultural appropriation rubbish, lots of people wear pants and you don't hear Sponge Bob complaining.
I might have used the grumpy thread, if Asmo hadn't stolen it back and given it to some undeserving cur whose name I can't recall, but he did so I'm using the bone.

I caught a bit of Antiques Roadshow, a guy used the word "Buddhistic," errrk!
Oh it must have been a mistake, I probably wouldn't have resorted to a fatal response for a mistake, but he did it again, he has to die.

I point the bone at the Antiques Roadshow guy.

Others can borrow my bone for a worthy cause but if someone infringes my naming rights for this thread, well they better get their affairs in order.  >:(

Take my advice, don't listen to me.

I like the idea behind this thread, and recognized the reference when I read the title. Still, I'm not going to jump in and take up the bone without due consideration, so for now I'll just register my approval.  ;)

I point the bone at Donald Trump.  Because he has to die anyway, and aboriginal magic seems an fitting way for him to go.

"Point the bone" is ambiguous in several cultural and sexual ways, so I need to be careful.  I'm going to interpret it as basically the same as "shoot the bird".  That being said:

I point the bone at Ted Cruz.  I don't want him to be my Senator anymore.

I don't think it's like giving someone the (middle) finger. No one, and I don't mean, No one, Sorry, I can't help it. Anyways, no one dies from this.  :smileshake:   But when you "Point The Bone At..." The pointee of the pointed bone curse always dies, eventually.
QuoteDefinition of bone–pointing:  the practice (as among Australian Aborigines) of condemning someone to death by pointing a sharpened bone that has been enchanted with a curse at the person whose death is desired
This goes beyond being "grumpy."  :o
I don't know if I hate anyone that much--yet.  :headscratch:
What if every time I "Point the bone at..." (someone)--they actually die!?  :shifty:
:suspicious: I don't think I want to play this game.

When I give someone the bird, they always die - eventually and invariably, so it's the same concept. Don't ask me where I got this power.

If this bone of power ever fell in to my clutches, most would believe it was the apocalypse.  Maybe it's better if I don't get a turn.

My turn!  :computerwave: I would like to hand the bone over to the the person who pays the highest price for it, such strange magical powers would surly fetch a good price, wouldn't it?

Plus,  right after money exchanged hands, you could point tbe bone at them.  Then do it all over again

xSilverPhinx

Shh! The first unwritten rule of bone-pointing is that you don't tell people you're going to point it at them!  ;)
