Can you spot the error in the image?

Hiding my guess so as not to spoil it.

Spoiler
Gears wouldn't turn, as two would be rotating in same direction and the third would be locked trying to spin in both directions. Must be a Betsy Devoss poster.

That was my evaluation as well.

Maybe it's not an error.

Spoiler
Maybe they want the parents to butt out of it.

The prize goes to Father Bruno!

Spoiler
The whole system is locked solid, going nowhere, immobile. Adding a fourth gear, say "SOCIETY" between any two, to make a quad ring, would work. Which two though?

What did I win Glowchester,.. money, a trip to Spain, a full body massage from Asmo!? (Please let it be the latter, please...)

By the way, I knew this because I had an Erector Set as a child (Was my Dad's set). One of the best toy's I had as a kid. Used to go to garage sales, antique stores and buy spare pieces, or additional sets.

Dad wanted me to be an engineer like him, but alas I swung from a different branch than him.

In fact this is a picture of the original instruction book I had from the set my Dad gave me. Fairly certain I still have it somewhere at home or in my workroom.

The drawing of the boy on the cover oddly resembles my father, to include the outfit he is wearing. I used to tease my Dad about it as a kid.

'Fraid the prize is just the inner glow that comes with being right!

Still got a "Meccano" set, our equivalent of the "Erector Set". Useful for trying some things out. I used to have s huge box of it as a kid, gifts, bought, swapped etc. Never did build the book projects, much more fun creating something different, new.

Built a clock that only lost an hour a day . . .

So did I, and I stupidly did not keep it, which I have regretted so many times over the years.

Don't fret over it. You can still buy it AND it has Allen key screws! No more scrapes and scratches from that bloody little screw driver!
