Hello HappyAtheistForum members. My name is Zack, I am 18 and I am in the United States Navy. I grew up in New Orleans but I began living in Houston, Texas after Hurricane Katrina. I have been an atheist for a while but I didn't make it known to others until about one year ago. I attended a Catholic high school and my entire family consists of avid Christians. For a long time I accepted Christianity just because I was pressured in to it. As several others do, I allowed myself to just follow the crowd and not really question religion. I am glad that I have now broke free from all the pressures and jumped off the religious bandwagon. I hope to become more knowledgeable and familiar with atheism as I participate in this forum.

Nice job on joining. If you think so anyhow...

One thing I kinda wish I did was join infantry. Now that I am 2/3 of the way through college it would be a big fuckin waste of time, well kinda. But I would be thowin a lot of knowledge in the toilet, and years of my life relearning it (it'd be easier though).
