The next person fears nothing.

sorry, been thinking.

yes, i dont fear anything. whats the worst that could happen?

death?

woo . . .

tnp wonders whether nihilism really does make any sense

set the function, not the mechanism.

MarcusA

Nihilism makes sense from the standpoint of creativity, as in a starting position for creativity.

The next person fears that they are numb to the world.

False. The exact opposite.

TNP can't be bothered to answer.

MarcusA

If I am bothered, I will answer.

The next person plays sport.

The Magic Pudding..

False
The nxt has been addressed as "sport" or maybe even "old sport"
If you suffer from cosmic vertigo, don't look.

False. I live at the civilised end of the planet :)

TNP was horrified at my blatant regionalism?

Asmodean

False. The Asmo is too Great and Terrible to be easily horrified by the obvious  ;)

The next person was horrified by The Asmo's only ever-so-thinly veiled regionalism?

In Asmo's grey lump,
wrath and dark clouds gather force.
Luxembourg trembles.

billy rubin

thing is, this was written by new york city slickers.

nobody sits alone at night to watch a hawk make lazy circles in the sky.

it cannot be done.

The Magic Pudding..

False, I expect wrong headedness from those from the woebegone regions.

The next peels the leaves from a lettuce, doesn't go at it with a knife like a frick'n barbarian.
If you suffer from cosmic vertigo, don't look.

Tank

True most of the time. When it gets to the size of a cricket ball I resort to the knife as it is too small to fight back.

TNP has had a death match with a fruit or vegetable?

Ecurb Noselrub

True. An artichoke. The details are too horrible to recount.

TNP has found a certain place at a certain time on this earth that he/she considers to have been as close to paradise as possible.

Asmodean

Mmh... False. Although it may just be me setting too high a standard for what an "paradise" should be.

The next person would take a one-way trip to another planet? (Assume "magic." The infrastructure to sustain you and the other colonnists indefinitely is there and never fails - but you may still need to put on a space suit to go for a walk and/or do things like wait a decade or two for those likes to whatever it is you've posted on Facebook)

Ecurb Noselrub

True, but not now. A little closer to my earthly end, with the idea that the technology there may allow me to live a bit longer. Also, the people probably would not be as stupid - yet - so that would be attractive.

TNP would take a world cruise that touches on every continent if he/she had the money and the time.
