FOX News is Thriving

Some of you had suggested in the "Barack Obama" thread that perhaps the extreme conservatives only appear to have the upper hand right now because they are louder. However, under the Democratic leadership FOX News' ratings are thriving while CNN, a much less opinionated and much more honest station, is doing quite poorly. If their ratings are growing, are the converting more people over to their nonsense? Making more otherwise middle of the road folks or more rational Republicans into extremists?

People are just fed up with Obama and the Democrats. Rightly so they are wasting money worse than Bush has and are just arrogant. Healthcare reform did it for me.

Then Obama started stuffing the supreme court with anti-freedom judges who are just as inexperienced as he is and just as hostile to gun rights and America. Now with all that and the other crap they pull, I'm fed up with anyone who's a Dem.

This post is risible, on several levels:

1) Rationalizing healthcare saves money.  Or do you prefer to give your money to corporations who will gladly let you die, in order to give themselves a higher margin?

2) Call me when anything Obama does passes the expense Bush's unnecessary war in Iraq.  Anything.  I wonder if you protested that.  I did.

3) "Stuffing the court" is a howler.  He hasn't expanded the liberal minority, at all. Not by one justice.  He has only had the opportunity to replace liberal justices.  And calling Sotomayor "inexperienced" is like calling Curtis LeMay a pacifist.  Orrin Hatch, one of the most conservative members of the Senate, sang praises about her experience.

4) Where the hell were these freedom-loving Republicans when the "Patriot Act" was passed?  Goddamned hypocrites who yammer about personal freedom at the drop of a hat said nothing about this abrogation of our Constitutional rights.

I'll be honest with you:  I'm not a Dem, I'm an independant, and while I'm tired of the two-party bickering, I'm fed up with the Republican persecution complex which manufactures drama in pursuit of power.

Spending worse than Bush? Bush spent trillions of dollars on a meaningless war in Iraq (not including Afghanistan), and gave huge tax cuts to the wealthy for no good reason which effects the deficit. At least Obama is putting it into our own country.

Sotomayor needs to go back to where she came from, in all honesty. I didn't like the Patriot Act but where are the dems to repeal it? Oh, I'm sorry, crickets are getting loud again.

Obama's a failure and he's stuffing every court in the land with liberal activist judges.....and we're all gonna have to have an RFID chip planted in our butt and stuff.

I'm an independent. I just like stirring anything I can about the current president. Don't like him, never will. I'm just out to talk as much shit as I can about him.

I'm unsure what qualifies you to review and critique her years as both a prosecutor and a district judge, but it's apparent to me that you would gladly politicize the courts in this country.  Pretty sad, not to mention unwise.

Yes, our politicians have all let us down; they're so afraid of the word "Patriot" in the title that they refuse to take action.  However, my point was that you, personally, are bitching about the "loss of freedom" under Obama, when the damage was already done, the freedoms already lost.

Both parties are my enemies so I will always work to pit my enemies against each other as much as possible. While they are at each other's throat, we shall bring our people in as the saner candidates.

Besides, damage from the Patriot Act could be rectified. Push to repeal the damn thing NOW. They won't because deep down Democrats are just as bad as Republicans when it comes to Freedom. All politicians are the same. They think they are better than you and have more rights than you.

FOX News is NO LONGER Thriving! Well, okay. Maybe not all of FOX News. But the ratings for Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity (as well as Rush Limbough) have taken a dive.  So now we have to wonder, is the anti-government/Obama enthusiasm simply wearing down because it can't be kept strong for that long, or are people finally starting to realize Beck is absolutely nuts with these Egypt conspiracy theories?

Actually, I couldn't keep from laughing. Forgive me, but I had to tune in -I think it was Tuesday night - to see what his reaction was to the responses to his conspiracy theory. Those damn chalkboards.   It really is like he's talking to a bunch of kindergartners.

I don't know how serious he really is. I think he's just an attention whore.
