Agreed. Order the grilled salmon. Give her first crack at everything. Don't talk with your mouth full. Don't stare at her mouth while she's eating. Let her order first. Don't order anything with garlic or onions unless she does the same (they have to cancel each other out). Talk about her. Ask about DHA: her dreams, hopes and aspirations. Pay, but don't make a scene about it, and don't give her the option. Let her argue afterward, to which you jokingly suggest that she pays next time (sets up another date). Second date, still pay.

This is so sweet! I feel like I've stumbled into the boy's locker room, listening to the seniors giving a freshman advice. LOL! :cool:

The biggest thing I'd say is the not forcing jokes issue. It's rarely endearing to see a boy trying so hard to make an impression and it could embarrass her. And if the jokes are extremely horrible, it could turn her off.

Just be calmly you... not the "OH MY GAWD I'M OUT WITH SYDNEY" you. If she sees something in you she likes, sweet! If not, you'll know fairly quickly and can nurse your broken heart before trying again. Don't put TOO much hope in anything "working out"... just go out with her to have fun, hang with a pretty and fun girl, and waste a few hours of your life being young. You don't get a chance to do that when you get all old and decrepit.

Did you get a date with her??

When I was at Busch Gardens yesterday I kinda hung out with two nerdy dudes from my computer science class since none of my other friends wanted to come. The rides were fun and all but I was still wishing that Sydney was there most of the time.

Also, I don't know how she would feel dancing so close to me at the prom when we're not that close yet.
