Is anybody watching NCAA basketball?

I rarely watch until the tournament. My husband and I usually do our own brackets and keep score. He always wins our little competition and it's already looking bleak for me this year.

Basketball... basketball... that's the one with the puck, right?

 :P I'll take that as a no?

My fiance loves Jason Kidd. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't even know what sport was in season.

Honestly. Professional sports could disappear tomorrow and I wouldn't have the slightest idea.

Ooooh, strike two on the basketball knowledge. NCAA = National Collegiate Athletic Association. College basketball tourney is happening now. :)

Quote from: "Ihateyoumike"As for your question, Wendy, no I am not. Unfortunately my team (Oregon State Beavers) did not make it to the NCAA tourney. Not a surprise since they haven't been there since about the late 80's/early 90's when they had players like Gary Payton and A.C. Green. They did make it to one of the smaller po-dunk tourneys, so I'm trying to catch those games, but without cable t.v. it's tough. Luckily there's always sites like JustinTV, where I can watch the games if someone decides to put them up there. Also, I'm more of a college football guy anyway. All the rest of the sports are just to waste time until football starts.  :)

My mom was an Oregon State fan. She lived in Cottage Grove for a while. I jumped on the Duke bandwagon during the Laettner/Hurley years.

Your mother sounds like my kind of person.  :banna:

Quote from: "Wendy"I thought about you when I saw that. Darnit, I had Illinois winning.
Yeah, betting on the Illini seems dangerous ---- they're good at breaking people's brackets.

Oh well, there's always next year!  (I learned that from my wife - she's a die hard Cubs fan :D )
